Sam Kauffmann
We TreesSam Kauffmann is a Guggenheim Fellow in Creative Arts (Film). His films have been screened at the Museum of Modern Art, The White House, aired on network television, PBS, and local stations throughout America, and at over 100 film festivals. His documentary film "Massacre at Murambi," was aired on the PBS series P.O.V. and has been viewed on YouTube over 1 million times. He has twice received Fulbright Awards, first at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda, where he made "Living with Slim: Kids Talk about HIV/AIDS," and second at the National University of Rwanda. He is the author of one of the most popular editing guidebooks in the world: "Avid Editing: A Guide for Beginning and Intermediate Users," from Focal Press, now in its sixth edition. It has been translated into Spanish, Russian and Chinese editions.

Terry Melvin
Eco Arts in ActionTerry Melvin is a documentary film-maker and photographer with a special interest in community projects. He has made films about artists and Aboriginal Elders, refugee communities, neighbourhood houses, community music projects and festivals, disability advocates, separated fathers and community engagement projects for men. He has taught to digital story making in a range of community settings.

Kelly is a results-oriented executive director with over 20 years of progressively responsible experience in wildlife conservation and youth education. As a leader, Kelly received a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management at West Virginia University. Kelly has more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, human resources, public relations, program development, strategic planning, and peer-reviewed science. He led the development and growth of the organization from $300,000 to over $4,000,000 in net assets while leading the efforts to restore Bald Eagles and California Condors to the wild in central California. While seeking immediate solutions for wildlife conservation, his vision extends to future generations. With two children of his own, Kelly is proud of our youth outdoor education emphasis, and has expanded our nature classes to make them more available to youth in underserved communities. Kelly also volunteers as a board of director for the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District and as a managing director for the California Central Coast Joint Venture.

"The Lens of the New Peninsula,” Mike is Carmel's #1 ranked videographer - specializing in educational videos, documentaries, and live event videography. Mike’s company, House of 8 Media, has been helping us all stay connected by adding a live stream option to any event – allowing Monterey Peninsula audiences to have the option now to attend an event from home. Averaging over 100 video productions annually, Mike has become an essential contributor by meeting this community's needs daily and being the documentarian of Carmel’s arts, culture, and community causes. After creating a documentary on Carmel called "Bohemian Soul," Mike is now a curatorship applicant for Carmel’s long-vacant historical home in the center of the City's largest park and open space, The Flanders Mansion; pledging significant community benefits for generations to come.
